Why we quality-gate case studies
Every case study published on brimley.uk affects every tradesman on the platform. One thin, poorly documented project page makes the whole domain look less trustworthy to Google.
So we set a quality gate. To become a full SEO case study — indexed by Google, linked from the sitemap — a project needs:
- At least 3 photos (before and after combined)
- 80 or more words of the tradesman's own notes
- A price with breakdown
- A location (postcode area)
About 30% of projects clear this bar. The other 70% become portfolio entries — still visible on your profile, still useful for showing clients your work, but not indexed by search engines.
There's no "force publish" button. We'd rather have 10 strong case studies than 50 thin ones.
This isn't a limitation. It's how we protect the value of every tradesman's profile on the platform. A domain with 200 quality case studies outranks one with 2,000 thin pages. Every time.
