Why some channels auto-sync and others need your approval

Brimley connects your profile to 15+ places where customers search for tradesmen. But not all channels work the same way.

Some are programmatic. Google Business Profile, Bing Places, Apple Maps, Foursquare, UK directories — these sync automatically after you set them up once. You finish a job, your profile updates everywhere. No extra clicks.

Others touch your personal voice. Instagram, Facebook, email campaigns to past clients. These are different. We generate the post or the message for you, but you review it and press publish yourself. Every time.

We could auto-post everything. It would be faster. But a tradesman who sees a post go out under his name that he never approved — that's trust destroyed in one second. "The platform is posting from my account" is the fastest way to lose a user.

So we drew a line. Directories and maps: automatic. Social media and direct messages: you approve first, always.

This isn't a temporary limitation. It's a design principle. We'd rather be slower and trusted than fast and creepy.
